The lighthouse

"We are a restaurant for everyone, but with very high quality standards", with these words is the owner and head chef Frank Wiechern philosophy in the Harburg lighthouse on the point. The new lighthouse at the Harburg outdoor mill is a gastronomic highlight, whose broadcasting extend far beyond the Süderelberaum. The creative hanseatisch Mediterranean map inspires not only the lovers of fish and seafood. The offered meat specialties are of outstanding quality. Creativity, Topfrische, as well as the use of seasonal and regional ingredients are the basis for success in the lighthouse.

The location

The restaurant Lighthouse is located directly at the entrance of the Harburg City Park with fantastic views over the outdoor mill. On a total of 96 hectares, the various landscapes spread in the Harburg City Park. Dense forested hills alternate with sparse grass lawns, ponds, moorland and meadows. The adventure bath MidSommerland is located right in front of the restaurant. Outdoor mill pond invites to extended pedalos and rowing boat tours.

The views

No matter whether in the À la-carte-restaurant, in the divisible room, on the panoramic terrace or Pavilion-due to the exclusive location of the Harburg Lighthouse guests enjoy superb views of the City Park and the outdoor mill anywhere.

The restaurant

Warm terracotta colours, refined furnishings and plenty of natural light provide an unobtrusive Mediterranean flair in the restaurant. In the show kitchen open to the restaurant, you can see Frank Wiechern and his team in the preparation of the dishes over the shoulder. 95 seats are available in the restaurant at the disposal. Due to the large demand is asked to book a table.

The Café a real first - in the lighthouse provides a confectioner fresh daily for the most delicious cakes and desserts. Specialties, which constantly vary and so lots of variety.

The Pavilion

In addition to the panoramic terrace, the Pavilion completes the offer in outdoor areas. Ice specialities, cakes and pies as well as high-quality snacks and drinks are offered here, without that the guest must return the same size.

The panoramic terrace is located in side and accommodate 120 people when the weather in the shade of the old trees.

The wine cave

The wine Grotto is located below the restaurant. This rustic vaulted houses not only a few hundred wines, but arguably one of the most extraordinary genus stamp of the city. The wine Grotto was designed as an exclusive event space for up to 16 people. This top location has a separate entrance and a separate sanitary facilities. The exclusivity of the wine Grotto is completed - i.e. a service force taking care of only the guests - by a private service.

The Ballroom

The large function room is divisible and can accommodate 30 to 250 used guests comfortably. The accompanying, but separately severed terrace allows the combination of covered table in the Interior, as well as loosely arranged Bistro on the terrace overlooking the Lake. The Ballroom is used for private and business events, such as:
